It is spread in about 5 kilometers area; located 18-km north of the city centre, is always crowded on weekends. One can find different activities on the beach, such as food stalls, performers and camel and pony rides.
Gateway of India, is one of the most famous monuments in India. Located in the South Mumbai on the sides of the sea, it was built to commemorate the arrival of King George V and Queen Mary for the Delhi Durbar of 1911. This is the first spot visited by any tourist who comes to Mumbai.
